What has american culture turned into currently?

I am an american and when i turn on american music channels all i see is talk about guns, jail and sex. What are these teenagers doing, making people like eminem (controversial lyrics), beyonce (girl who strips on most of her videos) and southern rappers (who always have girls in their videos dancing in bikinis) their idols. What is up with out culture? Is anyone like martin luther king going to help us out and wake this pop culture up. What is wrong and what can we do about it? I am a senior student in high school and i care about my country, if i didn't i wouldn't be asking people this question because i would be happy that students are caught up in this bad music and my competition chances are high to get into college and ge t a great education. What can america do about this garbage, FCC where are you at?
